yup
I believe minor = +30 major = +40 (i.e.) 10 more than minor Superor = +50 |

He is right.
Atm, there is a bug that makes major vigor a +41, instead of +40. So without the bug, a superior is only 10hp more. Makes those prices seem like the AOL of runes. |

hence my wondering why the f*** people are willing to pay so much for them. The same goes for every other item where people are spending mega $$$. It looks slightly different than a cheaper item, but performs slightly worse, why the hell are you spending so much for it.

Keep in mind that you can only use one rune of each type, ie. Vigor - be it superior, major, or minor. Plus I have heard tell there is a max HP that a player will reach?

Max hp from items? Because I've gotten a warrior over 1200hps messing around with symbiosis and a bunch of enchantments.

People will pay a lot of money for 2 things.
1. Perfection 2. To show off Superior vigor fits into both of those categories (well not so much the second unless you brag about it) |

Not for you, and not for me, but if you've got 500k sitting in your vault, who cares?

i think instead of minor 30 major 40 and superior 50 it should be minor 30 major 80 and superior 150. Mainly because the prices fo superior are outrageous i mean 100 plat just from the trader.

What is the hit point max per class. And why is there one? If I have a supior vigor, a max sword hilt of fortitude, and a sheild plus max life Why should I be stuck with a hit point limit?

Well actually it's not the game's fault. Everyone knows how much the health will go up by, it's the people that's willing to buy it for that price that made the price so crazy. If you would just stop buying the superior for 80k+ then the price wont be so outrageous.

The prices and attribute increases are just right across the board.
You can and should pay some money to get the most out of your character with minor runes and weapon upgrades. Most of the major and superior runes give you penalties, so it's really up to you to go with the tradeoff or not. As for the runes of vigor, absorption and the likes (that don't have a penalty): it should be incredibly tough to get them, yet only provide a slight (almost negligible) advantage to the player. Balance is king, baby. For once, the marketing bullshit on the box was right: skill will be your legend. Not phat lewt. Kudos to the developers. |

As far as the superior rune of vigor is concerned you are in a sense not paying just for the extra hitpoints, but for one of the rarest, most in-demand items in the game.
Thats worth alot to some people and isn't to others, just time to live and let live. |

the real reason for these tis to negate some of the penealty from the Superiors Runes that take away -75 form you health. I do agree they need to increase them and at least equal +75 to negate 1 superior rune if you do choice to place it on you. now the real problem is that if you use 2 superior runes you are losing 150 HP and can only gain back 50 of that with how the ssytem works now. and if your lucky you can get a weapon with a high +HP bonus to make up the difference but it would be really hard to get you back to no negative if you went this way.

Furthermore, three extra levels for two skills is a massive boon to a 20th level character who has already used up all of their attribute points. Being able to get 1/3 of the penalty for that back via Superior Vigor is very fair, IMO. |
